· Must be certified and have a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education
· Responsible for teaching English Language, Arts, Science, Math, Art, Writing and Literacy
· Two or more years of experience
· International experience desired but not required
· Able to work well with team
· Solid standards based instruction, lesson planning, strong classroom management skills and organization required
· Able to incorporate technology in classroom instruction
· Teachers must maintain grades, parent contacts, running records, behavior management for the class and meet with administration and parents regarding individual students
Master’s degree with specialization in education, administration or related fields.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as Principal
Academic training and experience in the American or Canadian educational system
Experience in Kuwait Ministry of Education regulations and systems
Experience in implementing the principles and current trends in education, curriculum, staff development, essential elements of instruction and supervision.
Bilingual (with fluency in English as well as oral and written classical Arabic)
Strong technology skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven leadership skills
The successful candidate shall be an individual with demonstrated leadership skills to facilitate the development, implementation and coordination of a high standard of instructional program that promotes the development of each child.
